One Mission

One Mission

$12.00 (USD)

Theme:       Skit speaks of what we need to look at in missions efforts and the need to be focused on what we do. Missions need to focus on specifics as opposed to be running off in all directions and getting nothing concrete or permanent done. Missions need to focus on God and the love between God and his people.
One mission, one God, one love.

Erin:         Way I see it this project the boss laid on us is gonna be big headaches!

Jody:        I’m with you on that Erin, wish the boss had been more clear on just what he wants, how he wants it done and what he hopes to accomplish.

Pat:          Yeh, Jody, plus why do us guys gotta do it? . . . Why didn’t the boss recruit people from some other department?

Erin:         Finance has a bunch of people; they don’t do anything but scream when we are over budget.

Pat:          Or make like it’s the end of the world when they think we spent ten cents too much on our expense account!

Jody:        Actually Pat, you just might have gone a bit overboard on your expense account when you claimed for snowshoes.

Erin:         Jody maybe you should have waited until winter to buy snowshoes, that sort of purchase doesn’t normally fit well in July.

Jody:        Erin, I was buying forward, avoiding costly price increases.

Pat:          But Jody, your territory is Florida where it hasn’t snowed since,  . . . well . . . never actually.

Erin:         Big thing that bothers me is that the boss wants the three of us to work together on the logistics of this project. I mean that takes a lot of time away from our regular duties. Would have been so much easier and less hassle if each of us could just work on our own.

Jody:        You heard the boss Erin, boss wants just one project and wants us to collaborate on it.

Pat:          Yes, boss wants a single concentrated attack, a . . . a . . . (searching . . . makes quotation marks with all fingers)  . .  a mission so to speak, not a shotgun approach.
