Marnie: Hi, Darla! Where are you headed today?

Darla: Oh, Marnie. You startled me. What did you say?

Marnie: I said what wild and crazy things are you up to this bright and beautiful morning when anything’s possible and the sky is the limit for your goals.

Darla: I am walking to the corner store to buy one bus token.

Marnie, pause: Only one bus token?

Darla: Yes, fiscally, that makes the most economical sense.

Marnie: Before you head out on your wild adventure, where are you going with your one bus token?

Darla: To the store.

Marnie: Great! Perfect day for a nice afternoon of shopping!

Darla: Today? No, as you may recall, I said today I am walking to the corner store to buy one bus token.

Marnie: Yeah, but the bus stop is right beside the store. Why not hop on the 11:30 express, grab some lunch at Don’s deli on 3rd and then hit the stores?

Darla, staring in disbelief: Do I look like wonder woman? Today I am buying the bus token. Next week I go to the store. Sheeesh!

Marnie: Well, which store are you going to?

Darla, boldly: Next week I am going to Religious Readings Christian Book Store. I have the book selected and my entire route perfectly planned right to the minute.

Marnie: Super place! I was there just yesterday and I managed to get the last copy of that new witnessing book.

Darla: New witnessing book?

Marnie: Yeah! It’s called….I can’t remember the whole title…

Darla: Would it be called Witness Your world?

Marnie: That’s it! You know of it?

Darla, mad: That book was the purpose for me going to that store. It was the purpose of me taking the bus downtown. And it was also the precise purpose of buying one bus token. Now, my entire plan is ruined, I will not get the book, and as a result, it will not be able to witness to my neighbor who, as a result, will not be saved all because you took my book!!

Marnie: Wow! I never realized you had such fire inside! Amazing! Don’t worry though; there are lots of other books on witnessing. Or you can always borrow my book!

Darla: I suppose.
