Our four-script Thanksgiving script package was put together to give our customers a range of ministry options for the Thanksgiving season.

DramaShare has, for almost 40 years, supplied effective materials, and for this package we selected easily staged monologues with a message, dialogs to explore the involvement of God’s people, powerful readings to facilitate some of our congregation’s lesser utilized people and abilities with a wider range of acting.

We also included some of DramaShare’s trademark comedy selections with a hard-hitting message to remind our congregations and ourselves of how well our God has provided for our needs and continues to do so. So whether you are looking for a sermon starter or a self-standing performance, we think this collection will provide an excellent choice of options.

1. Thanksgiving Readings (3)
Three readings (prayers) which focus on thanksgiving, the topics being: family and friends, health and freedom.

2. Cooking Up Thanksgiving
Giving thanks is more than just recognizing the usual gifts; this a TV chef, (Paula Deen type), learns this lesson.

3. Reason For Thanksgiving
Why do we celebrate Thanksgiving? This 30-minute comedy with a message will entertain but also inform in a way the audience will remember. Excellent for outreach as well.

4. Thankful Times
Thanking God for the hard times as well as the good times. Now that is for sure a tough one! It is easy to give thanks for things overcome – but so much more difficult to give thanks during sickness, economic downturns, or where things are slow to be resolved.
